Proton Mail desktop app for Linux

I've been using Proton Mail for a few years now, and I'm glad I made the switch to it. For a while, I was using their Proton Mail Bridge application, which allowed me to access my email account from a regular Linux email client, such as Evolution or Thunderbird. However, my experience with that product has been mixed. For the most part, it worked. But, from time to time, it appeared to lag a bit and it behaved in a strange manner (e.g., the email client appeared to get confused somehow, and clicking on a particular email message on the main pane would open a different email message). So, I was looking forward to the release of their Proton Mail desktop app for Linux. Alas, I gave it a try this morning, and it doesn't work. After I log in, it shows the following screen:
